@NianticHelp how about at least acknowledging this as a known issue? So we Android users can have at least some comfort it's being worked on feverishly?? Made it a bit more work to hatch eggs for the timed research ticket.

@NianticHelp Still the same... hoping the people on chat figure it out. Guessing it's an avatar issue. Maybe the rising hero pose? Now been DAYS since I've played for real! Only been able to battle an occasional Rocket balloon and my daily pokemon spawn. No pokestops for streaks or research.
