@Dammi_Esq Do not allowed them irrespective of any documents signed for temporary used, I can say boldly she will have problem that will make her to sell the land to them at cheap price. Why? can't the church start making arrangements on buying land for the time used in the old place.

My pastor recently asked me for a favour and I honestly need advice before I give them my final answer. Our church is having issues with the current landlord, so they’re asking to temporarily use my uncompleted building for worship. The building is already at roofing level with woodwork done, and the pastor agreed that the church would fix the aluminium roofing sheets, doors, and windows while using it until I’m financially ready to continue the remaining work and eventually move in. I’m considering allowing them use it for about 2–3 years, but I’ve heard so many stories about situations like this ending badly when it’s time for the owner to take back the property. Some people have even warned me that churches sometimes become too comfortable in a place and may resist leaving. Others are saying all kinds of things, including that they could start praying for me not to finish the building anytime soon so the church can remain there longer. I don’t want to disrespect my pastor or say no without proper thought, but I also want to protect myself legally and avoid future problems. For those who have experienced something similar or know someone who has, what would you advise? ~~~ T.P.P

Helping people is good, but once property and religion mix together, emotions and entitlement can enter quickly. If you truly want to help, make sure everything is documented legally with a clear exit date, signed agreement, and conditions for vacating the property. Good intentions alone are not enough in situations like this.
