OTD 1989 ✍️ 37 years ago today, Chris Armstrong signed his first professional contract with Wrexham. Just 17, he had joined from Llay Welfare, who Wrexham donated £250 to as a form of compensation. Chris had a fantastic career in the EPL and returned to us again in 2003.
