The passionate and animated mode of live media discussions on the ongoing crisis in Nigerian nursing continued on @YourView yesterday. Thanks to the very lively, balanced and insightful conversation made possible by the ever delectable and highly intellectual crew of @moakabash @AkashatZibiriNy @MariamLong at @tvcnewsng While we all agreed that brain drain in the Nigerian health sector needs attention, the most outstanding and unequivocal conclusion was that..... #Thread Full Video Here 👇👇👇👇👇 youtu.be/gEO26EdL9Fo?si…

Here’s the truth: I didn’t know how to code when I started Goodspeed I didn’t even have a technical co-founder. But I had ideas I wanted to launch. I wanted to make older adults entrepreneurs - because they have knowledge, skills, and value that often go untapped. Then I found Bubble. That moment shifted everything. 4 years on - I run Goodspeed - an AI-powered agency. We’ve built a SaaS tool for magicians. We’ve built a marketplace for care homes. We’ve helped enterprises launch internal tools. If you have an idea, you can bring it to life. The tools exist. I'm Harish - CEO of Goodspeed, an AI-powered software agency that builds with @bubble We help teams go from idea → product → scale, faster than ever. Want to build with us? Send me a DM.

The harsh truth but reality: most employers are not hiring you to learn. They are hiring you to solve problems. If you are not qualified and competent to do the job, don’t bother to apply. If you keep applying for job that you don’t qualify for, just keep expecting to get “100 applications, no single shortlist.” It’s that simple!

Most people don’t get rejected because they are unqualified… They get rejected because they misunderstood the job description. Job descriptions are not just listings, they are company confessions. They reveal pain points, hidden expectations, and the exact keywords your CV should mirror. Here is a harsh truth: most employers are not hiring you to learn. They are hiring you to solve problems. On Day One. I once got hired on a major project. A few days in, I received my work laptop. I opened my inbox, I saw 80+ unread emails. All problems. All from departments I had not even met. I told them I had experience, right? 😊 If you are job-hunting, stop applying blindly. Study at least 100 job ads in your field. Compare their descriptions. Look for patterns. Match them to your current skills and your CV. It is not just about impressing HR. It’s about knowing: "Can I really perform at this level?" "What gaps do I need to fill before they even interview me?" In another post, I will talk about how references, recruiters, and career coaches can shortcut your learning curve. But for now, remember: You are not unemployed. You are in training for your next opportunity. So train deliberately. As a life coach, I share every lesson I learn—about resilience, hope, and the power of community. Follow me for real stories about resilience, failure, and hope. Let's inspire each other—one story at a time

@taadelodun You nailed this bros! Too many unqualified and inexperienced talents applying for jobs they are not qualified for with ChatGpt written applications. It’s frustrating for employers and HR interested international hires!

Play with your wife. Be jovial and friendly. Every time I am in Nigeria, I watch how some men talk to their wives. It is kind of bullish, like a master to a servant. That is why some rebel when they relocate to a foreign country. It should not be like that. Men should love their wives, and women should respect their husbands. Men love respect, and women also love to be pampered. I am known as a tough man, and when I was younger, people used to worry about who would marry me, but I am a loving man at heart. I play with my wife like her husband and don’t behave like a pastor. These photos taken at different times show that I play with her like a friend that she is. May the Lord help us all.

From my youth, I have loved adventure. There are some nice places on Earth. As you start to age, spend some of your money on yourself. The tragedy of life is that men and women work so hard, but they do not enjoy it, especially the men.

I Thought Tech Wasn’t for People Like Me. The first time someone said “AI will replace nurses,” I laughed. But after digging into the future of AI in healthcare, I got scared. One day, I was sitting in the break room…. A thread… #TechForGood #Tech4All
