X's integrity required a much needed reset. Marketing-wise, what platforms like Kaito achieved was brilliant. They took casual posting and turned it into a gamified system for user-generated buzz. But what wasn't communicated (not sure thought of) was that VALUE should had been prioritized over VOLUME. As a result, authenticity was commoditized. And this showed that communities built on incentives means engagement was already out the door.

My wish for the Agentic AI space: Please no misguided and ignorant spending on pathetic marketing practices. Let's not forget the common goal of solving real problems at scale, where we can see amplified human productivity, unlocking of new markets, and more.

Agentic AI is doomed if we don't solve the issue of unsustainable economic infrastructure.

emotional infrastructure. we track heart rate, sleep, steps, glucose. but nothing tracks why you spiraled on a tuesday or why the same thought keeps showing up at 2am. right now you walk into therapy, re-explain your life for 20 minutes, get 25 minutes of actual help, then do it again next month. what if something remembered your patterns, your triggers, your growth. something with memory that compounds understanding over time instead of starting from zero every conversation. support that gets better the longer you use it, not worse

@krakenfx I'm personally banking on privacy as infrastructure. We saw the spark of the paradigm shift with the resurgence of zcash, a renewed interest in privacy on-chain. It will be about embedded infrastructure, selective disclosure, ultimately... cryptographic assurance!

We should apply the things we learned from crypto industry to AI. There will be a lot of bad ideas that are sold as "the future". These ideas will not work long-term. The things people are saying right now sound scary, but remember: 95% of them will not happen. Don't stress :) Startup failure rate is still 99%. Probably 99.999999% now that everyone can vibe-code anything we want. As someone who worked in dozens and dozens and dozens of startups including in AI (pls help), bad ideas get funded all the time. And the marketing can be convincing. But these smart people talking about AI are often too smart to understand the average person. Your job responsibilities will probably evolve (especially if you work in tech), using AI tools will make you more efficient, but it's highly unlikely the lives of every human on the planet will be completely disrupted like people are saying. The average person barely knows AI exists. And they aren't working in jobs where it will impact them. Don't let the timeline freak you out. A lot of people on X are early adopters and see the potential of what the future looks like. But that is very rarely (probably never?) what happens.
