A potential category 3 atmospheric river will bring heavy rain to the BC south coast and northern Washington generally beginning Saturday night and ending Sunday night for most areas.
This same atmospheric river will bring a second round of heavy rain to the northern half of Vancouver Island from Monday PM to Tuesday AM.
Rain will be the heaviest, and freezing levels the highest Sunday afternoon, with heaviest rain expected over southwestern Vancouver Island, the Olympic Peninsula, and Fraser Valley.

• Northern Vancouver Island:
20 to 30 mm, from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
• Western Vancouver Island:

• Eastern Vancouver Island:
