Why are govts using public sector $ in #quantumcomputing to fund academics to literally duplicate capabilities that are already commercially available? This is such an enormous waste. There are real, hard, long-term problems to tackle! We need academia to contribute to those!

I lost all my data on my Mac while updating it😟. Apple Support says since I don't have a backup and can't access my apple ID. I am in distress. Years of hard work have gone up in the air just like that. Can somebody help to retrieve the lost files? @AppleSupport
