Recycling content is not cheating • It's optimizing your production. • It's optimizing your time. • It's optimizing your budget. Dysney understood this, and that's why the magic still works. Video proof 👇

@jayu_dev I checked in @SEOStuff_, it was 30 or something. Also, look at what Google suggests. It might be not 1000. But even 100 is enough for my niche. Will update once get traffic to it.

The M1 Macbook Pro remains one of my best purchases ever. I've had it for nearly 2 and a half years, and it's been nothing but a pleasure to use. It's still as fast as the first day, battery life is still great, and I haven't had any issues with it. Coming from the absolute garbage that was the 2016 Macbook Pro, Apple really redeemed itself with this one.

@DanKulkov @screenstudio Hah when I first seen screen studio logo I thought it's copy of another logo I've seen. It must be popular pattern. But in this case well, it's similar app 😏

Someone is examining CodeQue heavily this morning 😃 One person is trying all search modes, while usually people use `text` and `include` And search both JS/TS and python. Python had very poor adoption so far. I'm glad to see this, whoever you are, best regards!

@dominiksumer Right now I have free version on the main branch and paid version on a different branch. Whenever I'm adding a feature available for everyone, I do it on main branch and then I merge it into paid branch. It kinda works for now, but It's far from ideal.

@jayu_dev very interesting .. which license did you use? and why did you decide to open source it in the first place? how do you handling the split between open source and paid features in terms of locating in a repository?

Have you ever thought about making your product (or parts of it) open source? Would love to know your thoughts on this. When would you say it's a good idea to open source it, and when should you avoid it?

@dominiksumer I build my license on top of this blog.n8n.io/announcing-new… But to be fair, what guarantee the license gives? I don't have army of lawyers to execute possible abuse and even identifying it might be hard IIRC I decided to open source because I didn't plan to monetize.

@dominiksumer It might work as a marketing for bigger organisations who have more complex business model and target bigger companies, eg. @getsentry has source code available. I would open source tho in case of building free product which is just a lead magnet

@dominiksumer Imo when working solo, there is more risk in exposing code than gain from it. Eg. you competitor with more workforce/money can just take all your work as a starting point for project with bigger budget and kill your work. I now do not open source paid features I'm building.
