Trump on Iran ceasefire: We really did the ceasefire at the request of other nations. I wouldn't have really been in favor of it, but we did it as a favor to Pakistan terrific people, the field marshal and the prime minister.

🇨🇦Let’s be brutally honest. First Nations does not give a shit about their land. They just care about getting paid. And sadly no matter how much they get paid they all still live in poverty.

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist Don't use "other side of world" line China has no special gravity-defying syste In China, corruption is hidden by the system which is very opaque Look at the large-scale corruption which happened with Evergrande The methods producing best results against corruption are well known

@jayy__sann @ProudSocialist So you're ignoring a local's experience of their surroundings and using your brain, which's on the other side of the world, to think about the social problems of a country with a different system?

This is a masterclass on why China is rising and the United States is decaying: “In America, you can change the political parties but you can’t change the policies. Billionaires in America control all policy making. China is a vibrant market economy but it is not capitalist. Billionaires in China can’t control policy and capital does not have enshrined rights. In America, capital itself has risen above the nation. In the last 66 years China is being run by one single party, yet the political changes that have taken place have been wider and broader and greater than any other country in modern history.” This is why it is far better to have one party that serves the people than two parties that both serve corporations and billionaires.

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist Transparency and independent accountability are what help a country rise, by making things like anti-corruption more credible. Otherwise, China's anti-corruption drive is itself a corrupt game.

@jayy__sann @ProudSocialist I don't care about these things. No government can completely eliminate corruption. I don't care how much money or power he gets. As long as he does his job well and helps the country rise, that's what he deserves.

@MarcNixon24 Electricity is superior. See China - they're leading the trend. Experts call them a rising "Electro-state" because not only are they producing the most electricity at lowest cost, they're electrifying energy consumption too. That's a futuristic economy resilient to supply shocks.

So let me get this straight… Canada is supposed to go fully electric while the rest of the world moves away from Net Zero policies and ramps up oil, gas and coal production? How exactly does destroying our own energy sector “save the planet” if global emissions keep rising anyway? Mark Carney is already warning Canadians they’ll need to “sacrifice more” and if we get it wrong, energy prices could become astronomical. So the plan is to cripple our own industry… then import foreign oil and gas at higher prices? This may be the most absurd economic strategy Canada has ever embraced. How did Canadians get stuck with Mr. Net Zero?

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist Emperor Xi cares about eliminating anyone he sees as a potential threat to himself, not about who is actually practicing corruption Justice is not blind Xi himself has plenty of his own corruption under his belt If you are friends with Xi, then you can be as corrupt as you like

@jayy__sann @ProudSocialist In other words, I still hold the same view: before Xi Jinping came to power, many things required bribery, but now those people dare not accept bribes anymore. This is the most significant change that ordinary people can see from their perspective.

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist It's very strange that Xi is suddenly finding so much corruption right now Why didn't he find it before? International observers feel Xi is trying to consolidate his power more tightly by getting rid of anyone with experience because he worries conspiracies can come from anywhere

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist The sheer number and frequency of announcements of arrests is very noteworthy. Either there is a political purge going on, or Chinese govt is suddenly experience big surge in corruption rot. To portray this as routine business-as-usual is naive, if not disingenuous.

@ArkLorror @ProudSocialist More likely that when top officials get ousted, their loyalist underlings also get purged too. Otherwise, if you have such pervasive corruption that it's causing so many to be arrested, then you have far more serious problems indeed.

@jayy__sann @ProudSocialist In fact, even low-ranking officials are being arrested, which proves that this is a genuine anti-corruption campaign, not a political struggle.

🇮🇳 Benjamin Netanyahu recently pointed to India to argue Israel is not globally isolated, calling his reception there a “love fest” and saying Israel remains “enormously popular” in the country of 1.4 billion people. In the 60 Minutes interview, Netanyahu praised his alliance with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while claiming Western media and social media algorithms distort global perceptions of Israel and its war on Gaza. @clif_high Gold can store value, but it cannot actively build value - ie. it doesn't get pumped into companies for them to make use of, nor does it get used for ordinary purchases or business transactions. For that, you need a currency which forms the backbone of an economy.

Ultimately Gold is money, everything else is paper. Gold always destroys fiat debt 'currencies'. The Deep State can not exist in a sound money (*gold based) system as bribery requires fiat currencies that can be created without costs.

@slganesh1 Brainless person, what are your solutions? Post you replied too was making stupid statements about countries using the "pause" to stockpile energy. There's no way to stockpile energy from this "pause" because the oil is still not passing thru the Straits due to blockade.

@janusmyth Shipping is not passing thru Straits of Hormuz during this "pause". From where are other countries stockpiling energy? Do you even have your facts correct? If you're going to whine, at least do it with proper facts. It's your facts which are not right.
