@tom_karnes@doctor2pi A4: In order to find resources I usually go to mentors who are teachers. They are highly educated and have a successful career. I trust them enough to use their recommendations because I know they will be effective. #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@doctor2pi

I can ask other teachers what resources do they find effective and why. I can know if it is a good fit by seeing how it is helping or not helping the students effectively learn in the way I intend them to and find one that fits my lesson.
@tom_karnes A4) I would talk to my teacher friends and ask what technology they use in their classroom. Also I would look online and do my research and look at what other teachers around the world have to say. #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@doctor2pi
@Ststansberry A3) Google translate is a good tool that could be used to communicate with parents and students. It could also be used to send text messages and emails. #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@Ststansberry

@eevlyng@Ststansberry@Duncannedd Hey Evelyn, I have never heard of Talking points. I'm going to check it out, I'm always open for new tools to use in the classroom. Thanks for the suggestion
@Ststansberry A3.) In terms of tech tools in the classroom, the most consistent would be Google Translate. However, I have also heard of the app called Talking Points which automatically translates messages! As for advice, I would say patience is key! #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@Duncannedd
@Ststansberry A3) I am not very aware of technological tools for multilingual lears, besides google translate. I can't wait to learn what tools we can use for our multilingual learners. We should always have tools for them to feel included. #CSUBEDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@csubmari@doctor2pi@DrEddiesClass Hey Mari, I need to check out Gimkit. Sounds like a great resource for our students to be engaged. Thanks for the suggestion.
@doctor2pi A2) I'd recommend Gimkit. It's both educational & provides a competitive component for learning. It's a great reset tool for students to get them more engaged & can also be used as an incentive for students for a Fun Friday activity. Great for all grades! #CSUBTED@DrEddiesClass
@rubyfuentescsub@doctor2pi Hey Ruby Classdojo is a great resource. Students love earning Dojo points. I never knew it could translate messages. That makes it better for our Spanish speaking parents.
@doctor2pi A2: A technology resource I would recommend is google classroom. With Google classroom you can post assignment, reminders etc. Also Kahoot makes test taking fun for students and gets students involved. #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@doctor2pi
@doctor2pi There are many ways parents and teachers can use technology to support their student. Parentsquare is a great messaging app that teachers use to stay connected to parents. Teachers can reach out but also parents can too, making communication easy. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi

@rubyfuentescsub@doctor2pi Hey Ruby, Class Dojo is a great way to support students needs. It also makes it fun for students to earn points. Parents can see if their child was given any Dojo points by their teacher.
@hwadk02@doctor2pi Hey Michelle, Parent square is a great app for teachers and parents. With this messaging app parents will never miss out on any information or events. Teachers will build great communication with parents.
