@AFC_Murph I’m here @AFC_Murph, and I totally agree with you. I was horrified to see all of our players no further than 30 yards out from our own goal. Suggests that Slot was terrified and lacking any confidence in his or his teams ability to do anything other than hang on for dear life

Where’s all the Liverpool fans with the pitchforks for the anti-football, long throw, 5 man low block Slot tried and failed to pull? Where’s all the “for the good of the game” crowd now? Hypocritical wankers, you can hold that battering

@elonmusk @elonmusk you are 100% correct, Charlie Munger articulates the point very well in his book, Poor Charlies Almanack. Incentive Choice Bias is a thing and that’s exactly what this is a prime example of!

@BootleJFL Surely you know all of the teams that played on those pitches? List them and see which is honest enough to admit they’re mistake 🤷🏻‍♂️

Buckley Hill between pitches 7 and 6. This is a consequence of not taking over wheelie bins (provided) and just throwing litter down on the floor. Disgusting! Both leagues are to blame Saturday and Sunday. It has to stop!!

@HightownJFL Absolutely! I can recall saying to a manger a few years back, our winger doesn’t want the ball because he’s got to run past you.. on the pitch!!! I know you shouldn’t have to police this but I think you’d only need to do it twice a season and on an ad hoc basis through the refs

We keep meaning to bring in fair play points but unfortunately it’s just another thing we have to then manage when in reality, as you say we shouldn’t need to. It’s my personal pet hate and not just because I have to spend ages marking pitches again, but the wingers should be out the touchline even if the ball is the other side of the pitch but a kid isn’t going to go past an oppo manager. So what is a 40m pitch, becomes a 30 pitch then the kids stand 5m inside the manager so it’s 20m pitch they are actually playing on!

Hightown was boss today. 🙌🏻 Car parking/sharing was great. Litter was very good! Atmosphere spot on.. only downside is I have to spend my Sat evening marking touchlines because managers can’t just stand a yard behind 🫥 The weather has been better than forecast so we are hopeful re tomorrow but will check all venues at 7am. I think those at Hightown today will testify that the work such as vertidrain etc is making a huge difference in keeping the pitches playable so I will (if red tape allows) get on Buckley Hill & Carr Lane this week

This is a far better idea, absolutely nullifies the threat of any dodgy bookkeeping. Still, needs to be lower than 5x though, giving clubs a £550m pa budget for wages is mental. make it 4x, that caps wages at what the highest club currently pay out (City £413m pa) So the big clubs cant increase wages, they would have to sell to buy. Then this gives other clubs a chance to catch up who dont have to sell to buy. Then transfers would become way more important, clubs like Utd and Chelsea cant take their scatter gun approach to signings anymore and hope for the best.
Football Talk@FootballTalkHQ

Under the proposed Premier League Salary Cap, clubs would be limited to spending no more than five times the broadcast and prize revenue earned by the team finishing last in the Premier League. Based on the 2023–24 season, that would set the cap at approximately £550 million (€630 million) per club. [@beINSPORTS_EN]

@Jenny_1884 You did, people just made a generic sweeping statement regarding conditions, eg. ‘It doesn’t agree with me’ in relation to a certain food = probably allergy or intolerance. Dementia = someone ‘has lost their marbles’ etc.. we are just more educated as to the actual condition

Florian Wirtz has just been officially announced as a Liverpool player. Incredible how they’ve built such a strong squad with the Coutinho money. A real underdog story.

@G_Insider what’s your views on @paddypower getting up to their old tricks again? Refusing to pay the customer for this cash out… saying it was ‘an error’.
