@peeplaja Not sure if either is taking new clients, but two of the best are @AJHarperAuthors and @jbernoff. Both have also written excellent books for prospective authors.

We appreciate GG friend @jbernoff's smart complement to the topic, demonstrating how variable the cost of writing a ghostwritten chapter can be and why. bernoff.com/blog/how-much-…

@MinkBzComMinute .. material. Part 4 is from my own survey of business workers' opinions about the material they read.
English

@MinkBzComMinute I don't have evidence that this proportion has changed. It is based on 1) number of workers in each job classification per Dept of Labor, 2) estimated time each job classification spends reading, 3) avg salary of the job classification, and 4) time wasted reading poorly written..

@jbernoff In 2017 you wrote: "America is spending 6% of total wages on time wasted attempting to get meaning out of poorly written material. Every company, every manager, every pro pays this tax, which consumes $396 billion of our national income.”

Honestly. You need to talk to your clients FIRST about what publishing path they are taking. That's not a detail to leave to the end.

Up now on the blog: Ghostwriters are often asked to advise clients on the best publishing path to take. @brooke_warner, @naren_amplify, @jbernoff, and @reginalbrooks weighed in on how ghostwriters can navigate this conversation at Gathering of the Ghosts: gothamghostwriters.com/summary-how-to…

Interviewing is a horribly inexact science.
You just can’t know how well someone will perform in a role until they’ve actually had a chance to do it.
So be careful not to set up a hiring process so rigid and exacting that it guarantees you only hire great people. Not only will you slow your hiring to a crawl, but you’ll have certainly turned away dozens of people who would have been amazing - had you only given them the chance to show you that they could be.
