The 2024 BCS Teaching Fellows Scholarship is open to BCS seniors and BCS graduates pursuing teacher licensure as well as BCS teachers currently enrolled in an alternative licensure program. The application window is currently open and will close on April 16th.

Have you seen teacher pay in South Carolina? Base pay Year 1: $42,500. $5k bump for masters. $12k bump for doctorate. A year 23 teacher with doctorate earns $20k more annually than a NC teacher with same credentials. NC must do better! @Gina4Lit @Morristeach1 @Leah_Carper

Dear @NCLeg, my veteran teachers wish to thank you for the 2% raise in this year’s budget. They humbly request that future raises at least be pegged to inflation, which averages 3.28 annually and was 8.26% last year. That’s the LEAST we can do to retain our top talent.
