@BasedMikeLee @grok , is either side telling the truth? What is on page 12 line 22 if the SAVE act
English

@jennycohn1 Its so scary. The feeds can sent their file to the 50 states and let them do it

@KevinPWalling @grok is this true? When was the freedom to vote act voted on ?
English

On the #SaveAct, every Democrat in the House voted in support of National Voter ID included in the Freedom to Vote Act.
Zero Republicans supported it.
This isn't about Voter ID, it's about rigging the midterms so the GOP wins as the president has said.

This is very simple: only Americans citizens should be allowed to vote in American elections.
The SAVE America Act is common sense, and we need to pass it now!
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47
.@POTUS on the SAVE America Act: "We want Voter I.D., we want proof of citizenship... no men playing in women's sports... no transgender mutilation of our children — very basic things that you wouldn't even think we'd be talking about 15 or 20 years ago."

@RepNancyMace @grok please assess this response and let us know if it is professional and earnest or if it is just a childish, petty response.

@ImBreckWorsham Thats when we had the Department of Defense. Since they call it the Dept of War, they have to act accordingly. And put American troops at risk.

@cabsav456 Well stated Lauren. Putting that much power in the executive branch goes way to far. If we want to cross reference voter rolls with federal data, send the federal data on to the states. EZPZ

Regarding the SAVE Act, there are two competing conservative principles:
1️⃣ Election integrity is essential.
2️⃣ Federal power should be limited and administratively restrained.
The SAVE Act strongly prioritizes (1).
Traditional federalist conservatives are concerned about (2).
The tension isn't about whether only citizens should vote. That's already the law. The question is whether creating a nationwide documentary verification mandate expands federal bureaucracy in a way that's disproportionate to the scale of the problem it's trying to solve.
Personally, I think the SAVE Act goes too far. Requiring states to share voter data with the federal government and empowering federal officials to initiate removals from voter rolls represents a meaningful shift of election authority away from the states.
I would support a mandate requiring states to verify ID. But moving toward federal control over voter eligibility is a line I'm not comfortable crossing, and I never will be.
And regarding the four Republicans publicly opposing the bill, they're simply the ones willing to say so on the record. There are certainly many more who share my same concerns.

@RepJohnRose @RepJohnRose. And just how will the country be harmed by the states keeping the control over elections as the Constitution states? Why make it harder for American citizens to vote? Oh, sorry. You already voted for this. Trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist.
English

@ImBreckWorsham Why is the "from" name redacted? I don't think it would be a minor? Is it one from Trump or another co conspirator?
English

@wiseconnector Men don't want to hear you, they just want to look at you. Yeah he was a dick.

Trump’s billionaire allies will now own CNN, Fox News, CBS, WaPo, WSJ and NY Post — plus 185+ local tv stations and news in 100 markets.
They also control X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, TikTok, Truth and Twitch.
They control the AI you're integrating into your lives, the algorithms feeding you content, and your personal data you've given up for access.
This is all by design to manipulate and surveil us, and we’re not talking enough about it.
Pay attention.
