I relate to this word-for-word. You make noise, warn people, tell them exactly what is coming, word for word sometimes but people just don't listen. So you don't say anything, anymore. You just watch. You see the patterns, see the script but shut it.

@carltonkitheka1 The problem most men have is they think they can own and control women, especially if they're married or in long-term relationships. Learn to detach if the relationship is no longer working. Until men learn and internalize this, these incidences will persist unabated.

From my recent visit, the city still feels quite homogenous in everyday life. From the airport to the streets, it operates more like an extended hometown than a fully mixed urban center. Look at cities that have truly scaled. They attract people from everywhere. That mix creates demand, competition, new businesses and ultimately a stronger economy. It’s why places like Nairobi evolved into economic hubs; people from different regions came in, invested, settled and built. If Kisumu wants to reach that level, it has to position itself as a city where anyone can come, buy property, start businesses and feel fully part of the ecosystem.
