We’re proud to announce Matthew Cyzer as Chairman of Score.
Matthew brings over 35 years of experience in global finance, with a strong record of building and scaling companies across major institutions.
His career spans both sides of the Atlantic. He worked in New York for 10 years during the 1990s and early 2000s. When he returned to the UK, he joined Goldman Sachs in 2002, became a Partner in 2003, and led equities and all equity products until 2013.
Matthew then left Goldman Sachs and built BTIG’s European brokerage business from the ground up over the next eight years. He briefly managed the closure of DB’s equity business, then joined Cowen, once again building the business from scratch and delivering significant results through the Covid period and beyond. After Toronto Dominion Bank acquired Cowen for $1.4 billion in 2024, Matthew joined TD as Managing Partner, overseeing the entire FICC and equity businesses across Europe.
A word from Matt:
“Score sits at the intersection of data, markets and decision-making, which is where the most important businesses of the next decade will be built. What impressed me is not just the technology, but the clarity of vision around how it becomes a real, scaled platform. I’m looking forward to helping the team turn that ambition into a global business.”
Matthew’s experience in scaling companies and operating in complex markets will be crucial as Score continues to grow, and we’re excited to have him join the team.
