I think the labs are betting on AI medical and biotech discoveries to turn the tide on public sentiment in the West. If the models start producing miracle cures and longevity treatments then everything about the discussion will change. This probably starts happening this year.

Crypto started to lose its way when it changed to CEXs primarily making their profits from liquidations They make their money doing harm to the industry 10/10 is the cumulative result of giving bad actors too much power

Teachers know real-world context matters. These real-world money videos support meaningful conversations by grounding financial literacy in situations students actually face. Available at the start of each unit, labeled “Real World,” in the Financial Literacy course: khanacademy.org/college-career… Made possible by Intuit for Education.

------------------ SCENARIO ANALYSIS ----------------- I ran a full set of scenarios comparing SELL vs BORROW Bitcoin to fund lifestyle. You can check this yourself on any AI. The result is surprisingly clean once you isolate the real variables. Key variables R = lifestyle / stack (Example: 10 BTC at $100K = $1M stack) $100K spend ⇒ R = 10% T = time for BTC to hit $1M I tested 7, 10, and 15 years P = Path to $1M S = straight line FL = front-loaded bubble BL = back-loaded (slow → explode) C = chop / stair-step (realistic Bitcoin) r = net borrowing rate Tested 10% and 5% CORE RESULTS ----------------- 1) R is the master variable R ≤ 10% Borrow dominates selling in every path, every T, every r Selling early BTC is always inferior R ≈ 15–25% Borrow wins in 3 of 4 paths Selling only wins in front-loaded bubbles (rare + psychological trap) R ≥ 30% Selling becomes existentially destructive Borrowing still wins economically, but requires risk controls 2) Path matters far more for SELL than BORROW Selling BTC is path-dependent and irreversible Borrowing is path-independent economically (survivability aside) Worst case for selling = back-loaded or choppy paths Best case for selling = perfect early bubble If BTC goes to $1M late, early sellers are permanently crippled. 3) Time (T) helps borrowers, hurts sellers (very counter-intuitive) The longer it takes BTC to hit $1M: - The worse selling looks - The better borrowing looks 4) Interest rate is the regime switch At 10%: - Borrowing still usually wins - High R requires discipline (LTV spikes matter) At 5%: - Borrowing dominates in almost every scenario - Selling only wins with near-perfect market timing Conclusion: - Low R → borrow, don’t think - Medium R → borrow unless you’re betting on an early bubble - High R → borrow + LTV discipline, but selling early is still worse

We’re proud to announce Matthew Cyzer as Chairman of Score. Matthew brings over 35 years of experience in global finance, with a strong record of building and scaling companies across major institutions. His career spans both sides of the Atlantic. He worked in New York for 10 years during the 1990s and early 2000s. When he returned to the UK, he joined Goldman Sachs in 2002, became a Partner in 2003, and led equities and all equity products until 2013. Matthew then left Goldman Sachs and built BTIG’s European brokerage business from the ground up over the next eight years. He briefly managed the closure of DB’s equity business, then joined Cowen, once again building the business from scratch and delivering significant results through the Covid period and beyond. After Toronto Dominion Bank acquired Cowen for $1.4 billion in 2024, Matthew joined TD as Managing Partner, overseeing the entire FICC and equity businesses across Europe. A word from Matt: “Score sits at the intersection of data, markets and decision-making, which is where the most important businesses of the next decade will be built. What impressed me is not just the technology, but the clarity of vision around how it becomes a real, scaled platform. I’m looking forward to helping the team turn that ambition into a global business.” Matthew’s experience in scaling companies and operating in complex markets will be crucial as Score continues to grow, and we’re excited to have him join the team.
