Guys, stop wasting your money - the trailer tells you everything you need to know: Black Captain America: Sam Wilson is inexperienced, preachy, uninspiring, overrated, and self-righteous. Superman: A depressed, despised, over-emotional mess down on the ground every single shot. Supergirl: A drunk, unhappy, hopeless party-girl in a bleak, washed-out anti-trailer. Thunderbolts aka THE NEW AVENGERS: Remorseful depressed superheroes with a tagline starting with, “Not super, not heroes.” Spider-Man (Brand New Day): Falling from the sky, hitting the ground, being run over, bouncing off objects etc—no victory, happiness, hope or triumph anywhere in the trailer. So far, I predicted the failure of 4 OF THESE just from seeing the trailers. Let's see if Spidey can stick HIS landing.

I was working a wreck that involved a food delivery driver. During me writing everything up I watched him go to his car & open the bag of food & grab some fries & eat them. He had already told me he was in the process of making a delivery. THAT is why I don't use that stuff🫤👮‍♂️

@BadgedPatriot Yes. Society has agreed that Big Brother isn't so bad. After years of railing against him, we now pay for the privilege of his company. Many now cannot even imagine their existence without his constant presence. Observation of the paradigm shift has been fascinating.

Guess what happens when you scan your fingerprint to sign in on your phone/computer? How about when you "think" u are deleting something private or not & its actually stored in a database after u delete it? Friends & haters, in todays AI world, your info will never be 100% safe.

On the one hand I hate that everything is automatic now, I miss manual transmissions. On the other hand, I have nerve damage in my lower spine and it makes my left leg intermittently uncooperative (useless). So I can't really drive a manual anymore anyway. I miss them on principle, though. I had to give up my motorcycle for the same reason. Stupid nerve damage.

I blame retarded Americans for their reliance on automatics. Most cars are still manual over here, so this isn't considered much of a skill, it's just how we learn to drive.

@CynicalPublius I have observed, and lamented, the same. It is a sad state when you have a society that is technically literate but functionally illiterate due to the degradation of comprehension.

One of the greatest problems in America today is the lack of minimally functional reading comprehension skills. I was unaware of the scope of this epidemic until I started posting on X. I can literally post "The sky is blue, except at night and during bad weather," and inevitably there will be multiple responses along the lines of "OH YEAH SMART GUY???? Wot about when it's night or bad weather???" I weep for our educational system.

Books, not book. 310 pages? 410, 510, 610, 710, etc. My kids did the same. My youngest sons school complained he was reading books that were too advanced. What they were really complaining about was that the books he was reading couldn't be tracked (at his grade level) in their precious AR program.

Yes. I read it as a child. Because it’s a children’s book. We keep lowering standards for children’s media and then wonder why kids can’t read or grasp complex concepts. Running into words you don’t know is part of the learning experience. Not an insurmountable obstacle.
