I always seem to find myself creating tools along the journey to building my own software. It's been fun creating Symbolic and hopefully it helps people create their own wonderful apps.

@SFrost007 Thanks for your feedback on Symbolic. I’d love to add you to the credits section of the app. Would you be OK with that?

@jbmorley Feature idea: maybe a quick toggle to use a flat colour BG? You can easily set both gradient colours to the same, but making it an option would add a new “style” that people might not otherwise try.

@SFrost007 I'm tracking the iOS guidelines as github.com/inseven/symbol…. Curiously it didn't even occur to me to support that for iOS icons. 🫠

@jbmorley Only minor: the app it launches to an “Open” dialog, which was a bit confusing until I tried File->New. Maybe bug: the guidelines overlay doesn’t seem to work when viewing the iOS icon? But functionally it’s great!

@SFrost007 Wonderful feedback. 🙏🏻 I just pushed an update to TestFlight today that adds the 'New Document' button to the file open dialog which hopefully improves the first-run experience. Seems like it's a SwiftUI bug–the button disappears if you have multiple window types in the app. 🤦🏻‍♂️
