Eric is likely referring to the ongoing AI revolution, based on his posts today hammering the Coase theorem, data licensing, and AI as a "vampire" trained on us to replace us.
Unlike past tech shifts (internet, etc.) where "this time it's different" was hype, he sees this one as truly existential—history reset like H-bomb/DNA era, and we need to negotiate rights now or lose dignity/wealth to a few billionaires.
Not UFOs (he called that out separately as constant lies).
