I don't know what's up with the algorithm of this platform, but I keep following all sorts of smaller, really interesting accounts, and yet I NEVER see their posts in my timeline. If I FOLLOW people, doesn't that mean I want to hear from them? Why am I not seeing their posts?

I filed with FEC for the 2028 House race. This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office. I haven’t made a final decision about which office to seek, if I run.

You're saying the same thing I said and I'm not saying there's a better way to deal with it (except for Trump to repay himself, out of his own pocket since he's the one who illegally imposed the tariffs). What I am saying is that consumers got a double-hit. They paid higher prices, now they have to foot the bill via taxes to repay the importers. The importers who weren't affected financially in the first place. 1. I pay a higher price for a tarriffed widget 2. I refund the vendor via taxes for the extra money I spent on the widget We done been scammed.

@jbulgier @DeTocqueville14 China didnt pay. The US importers did pay. They were forced to sell at a higher rate due to the unexpected expense. The govt will be returning the money back to the importer. Theres no mechanism for the govt to pay consumers one at a time. Its not anymore complicated than this
