@JomboyMedia Need the entire beginning to create context. Runner on 3rd pitcher is required to declare switching to windup. The step backward is a windup move, not a stretch move. So if he did not declare it was a balk as soon as his first step was backward.

The chief complaint of Dodger fans for all of 2025 was the team keeping Michael Conforto on due to intangible “underlying metrics” that “predicted a breakout” which never came to fruition. Now some of the same people are trying to argue that Freeland deserves Kim’s spot due to these “underlying metrics” which stand totally in contrast to the reality on the field. If you ever complained about Michael Conforto, you cannot support having Hyeseong Kim sent down 🤷‍♂️
