“Man who threw his girlfriend from the fourth floor of a tower block has been jailed for five years.” Five years for throwing an 18-year-old woman from the fourth floor of a tower block - causing a collapsed lung and fractures to her pelvis, spine and ribs. Joke of a sentence!

Another “achievement” for the most unpopular Chancellor in British history, Rachel Reeves. The IMF has downgraded the UK's growth forecast to 0.8%. The biggest drop of any G7 nation. Inflation is expected to rise to 3.2% and unemployment to rise to 5.6%. Labour are a disaster.

A very good speech from Zia Yusuf which highlights not only the financial costs of the Boriswave but also the damaging cultural costs of it. This is why the Tory brand is toxified beyond repair and frankly insulting to see people like Priti Patel in the Tory shadow cabinet.

OLYMPUS GAVE HIM THE TOP JOB. HE USED IT TO EXPOSE THEIR $1.7BN FRAUD. Michael Woodford joined Olympus in 1981 as a salesman. Thirty years later, he became the first non-Japanese CEO in the company's history. The first Westerner ever to reach the top of one of Japan's corporate giants. A genuine rags-to-boardroom story. He lasted two weeks. Shortly after his appointment, he discovered a $1.7 billion accounting fraud. Olympus executives had been hiding massive investment losses through complex takeover deals and secret off-balance-sheet vehicles for years. Hundreds of millions funnelled through shell companies in the Cayman Islands. Payments to obscure firms that appeared to have connections to organised crime. He asked questions. Reasonable questions. The kind any CEO would ask. They fired him. When he walked out of that building, he feared for his life. He immediately left Japan and flew to England. Then he did something they didn't see coming. He went straight to the press. What followed became one of the biggest and longest-running loss-hiding scandals in Japanese corporate history, according to the Wall Street Journal @WSJ. The entire Olympus board resigned. Senior executives were arrested, including the previous CEO and chairman, along with the company's former auditor and bankers. Woodford was awarded £10 million in an out-of-court settlement with Olympus in June 2012. @TimesOnlineLK, @Independent , @TheSun and the @FT all gave him their top business awards that year. The man who blew up his own career to stop a billion-dollar crime run by people with mob connections won. And the people who tried to silence him ended up in handcuffs. That's how it's supposed to work. It just almost never does. Michael Woodford is now patron of Protect @WhistleUK, the UK's largest whistleblowing charity. Every year, thousands of people call them in desperation. Most of them don't get a £10m settlement. Most of them get nothing but grief. Think about that. 🔴 In an article for The Telegraph, Geoffrey Robertson, the barrister who founded the chambers where Sir Keir Starmer practised for nearly two decades, said Labour’s plans to curb jury trials would remove a centrepiece of British criminal justice, putting the “whole edifice” in danger 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/1…

Jag gick in på Greta Thunberg Instagram. Scrollade. Men vissa sitter fast. Fast i sitt hat.

Yes. I've been warning about this calamity for a while 7% of the UK pop. changed in just 3 YEARS thanks to the BORISWAVE of 4M+ people btw 2021-2024 This was the largest demographic shift in 1000 years In January, the first ripple of the Boriswave became eligible for PERMANENT settlement & BENEFITS Starmer knows this is disastrous and wishes to extend Indefinite Leave to Remain eligibility from 5 to 10 years However our weak & feeble PM is under intense pressure from his Labour backbenchers to keep eligibility at 5 years and extend it to the Boriswave ASAP However, even if ILR is extended to 10 years, Labour are offering people various shortcut routes to achieve ILR much earlier. In addition, Starmer's open border comrades (i.e. immigration lawyers) are promising to block this extension in the courts. Let's be clear: the majority of the Boriswave are low-skilled, low-earning migrants from the third world / developing nations. Allowing them to stay in the UK will be an economic and social catastrophe. The government - and any new government - must commit to blocking the Boriswave from settling in the UK. Indefinite Leave to Remain should be abolished. Clip from my monologue earlier this year:
Reform UK@reformparty_uk

If we don’t reverse the Boriswave now, the economic consequences will be catastrophic.

The Labour Party have completely abandoned women’s rights. It’s been almost one year since the Supreme Court confirmed that sex means biological sex. And what progress has the government made? Zero. No grip. No interest from Bridget Phillipson.

The excuse 'We need breakfast clubs at school so we can get to work on time' won't wash. Either get a job starting at 9.30 or pay a childminder or family member to look after your child at 8am and take them to school at 9. Like we used to. And don't forget to brush their teeth and use the loo instead of nappies before you pop off to work too. Like we used to.

@DesmondSwayne Most of us (those old people who have the temerity to take a holiday & own their own home) have paid circa 50yrs. of taxes & continue to pay. We get lowest state pension in Europe. Bailing out bank collapses & paying off national debt is not what we thought we were paying into!

If, like me, you were born in 1956, you’ll receive almost £300,000 more in benefits than you’ll pay in taxes in your lifetime State Pensions make up a huge chunk of that Long term, we simply can’t afford to sustain the Triple Lock’s generosity Blog: desmondswaynemp.com/ds-blog/1956/?…

They are buying your votes. This isn’t about giving struggling families help. This is about ‘making mornings easier for all families’. Do we really want the state doing everything for us? What about personal responsibility? How infantilising.
