Frederick Douglas gave a talk in Cork’s Imperial Hotel in October 1845. The black Paddington family, featured in my book, lived in Cork then, and Ireland first black catholic priest Fr Paddington was from Cork. Thanks to @jcrangle13 + @Adrian_Mulligan for making the event happen
