Comment from me: Putin's aide did say that Putin "updated" President Trump about the situation on the battlefield. Ukraine is not defeated, we inflict losses to Russia's troops, equipment and lots of Russian military locations in Russia's rear. Russian advances on the battlefield are paid for with very heavy losses on their side. As for the ships - I'm not sure where this number comes from and what does it have to do with Ukraine.

I've seen some chatter on this here app that North Carolina made a mistake by not waiting for Billy Donovan to leave the Chicago Bulls before hiring a coach. Balderdash! Donovan knew full well UNC wanted him. He also knew full well that his team was not heading for the playoffs, and that he was very unlikely to be back. If he wanted to leave a week before the end of the regular season to take the Carolina job, nobody would have begrudged him. It's clear he didn't want the job — or at least, didn't want it enough. Not to mention the transfer portal opened two weeks ago. Would it have been worth it to UNC to wait this long to get Donovan as coach? Probably not, but even if the answer is yes, there was no guarantee Donovan would take it. No one in their right mind would take that risk. Michael Malone was an unconventional hire, but no one can doubt his pedigree as a coach. And the program has had a really good last 24 hours. Donovan-to-UNC was a pipe dream that was never gonna happen. Carry on my wayward sons.

At this point in time, there is no better job for Tommy Lloyd than @ArizonaMBB. If you don’t want to call the Wildcats a “blueblood,” that’s fine.
