@PatrickMoranTB They can still win this series. Especially if Thompson and Tuch get off the mat. It has been a great season regardless. Haven't watched this much hockey in 15 years.

Maddening the Sabres aren't getting anything from Tage/Tuch but I feel right about here was the ceiling for this year's team. Tons of young talent, a great taste of the playoffs, a lot to be excited about for in the future, and look where they were at. It's been a great season!

I have to shout out, once again, the @TownofTonawanda and @TonawandaYPR This spring has been terrible. But I played Sheridan yesterday, and the place was in GREAT shape. Sheridan is, IMO, the best value there is for golf in WNY. You get a super challenging course, in good to great shape, for a reasonable price. Municipal golf is VITAL when it comes to access in the game of golf. The town investing in and maintaining two awesome tracks is such an asset to the region.

PP observation: Habs top unit is dripping with talent and, importantly, at least three really great passers. They're so dangerous because they can play two steps ahead of the kill given how they change the point of attack

I love the reactions every year during #NFLDraft. The amount of definitive statements on purely unknown prospects is comical at times. We cry about not drafting BPA, then we do and it’s crying about not drafting needs. Then we cry about not having depth, then when we draft for depth it’s “but but why so early?” It’s a LOSE LOSE this time of the year.

@Pierre_Kingpin The frustration is they drafted nothing but defensive players last year and they are doing it again this year.

Most of Beane’s hits been on Day 3 anyways so let’s see how this shakes out but GOLLLLLY.

@VelB_Lo I agree he played them too much. I just thought if you're moving off Thibs you get a better coach than Brown. I'm not a believer in him. They should be up 3 - 0. 2-1 at worst

@jcross716 My only beef with Thibs was his lineups at times and running JB to the ground .. these boys don’t even look tired .. it’s just execution and playing consistently together on both ends.. from a fan perspective tho .. good series

The Sabres were dominant in that period. Swayman is playing his ass off. Throwing the body like I’ve never seen before. Weak weak calls by the refs and if you get power plays in the playoffs you need to get them. Mattias Samuelsson playing like an all star. Still a good period, tough goal.

@PatrickMoranTB This is why I stopped watching wrestling. It was better when it was believable. I don't need to see backstage. I want to believe these guys hate each other. No offense to your perspective just a personal preference.

Well there's your answer real quick. Looks like he's going to retire. Wow what a moment and way to go out. Hope to see some backstage footage in the future.

@JDrz16 @SabresBuzz The Sabres had been looking for a R shot D for several years. Kesselring was who he initially wanted but he would not move off Doan being part of the package.

@SabresBuzz @jcross716 Down was the centerpiece, the trade hinged on Doan and the embedded episode shows both GMs had dug their feet in on Doan. Adams just held his position longer.

Mike Kesselring has every right to be pissed off at his head coach right now.

For a team that puts up a fair amount of shots, the #Sabres absolutely need to shoot more. Especially when they are right there for the taking and not trying to force passes. But then they will try to force pucks to the net right into a dude’s skate.
