And it's McDavid's only chance to be traded to a team with a 1st overall pick in-hand, lessening what he'd pull from the roster. Im an educated fan that follows the game well not just in toronto but lots of cities junior leagues all the way up. I’ve got friends and family in the game so im just giving you some context from a leafs perspective. And yeah our lower bowl looks like a bunch of suits sometimes but the leafs don’t need a handout from the NHL nor a mock draft to get some players or build a team unlike some people... Besides anyone who wants to go to Vegas is only going because they know no one cares out there and the taxes are great. They don’t go cause they love your team. Who loves Vegas aside from the casinos and shows. Quick car ride to LA so that doesn’t hurt.
