@jd67401 @CinemaTweets1 Good point. At least in your version the gardener has a real purpose. I also hated how at the end she becomes like an avenger targeting abusive husbands, it felt like a completely childish shift from the very interesting characters we had at the beginning.

The Housemaid, which features Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, turned into a massive box office success, earning over $390 million worldwide against a $35 million production budget. I personally thought Seyfried is great here & carries the day. The movie overall is worth it.
