An unacceptable screw up on every front. First and foremost, he says play on. Secondly, they brought in a specific exemption for shaping to handball not being a 50 with the stand rule. Disappointing at any level, let alone AFL #AFLBluesHawks

Looking at World Cup it’s no wonder AFL player faking has risen to epidemic proportions. Conning umpires is alive and well in global sport. Time the AFL started to significantly fine players and media expose and castigate players. There are several perennial performers in AFL and everyone knows who they are but they continue attempts to con umpires and usually succeed.

Commentators calling Maynard getting 4 weeks for umpire contact. Firstly he looks like he was being pushed from behind and had his hand out and secondly why on earth is an umpire anywhere near that action. Stay 10 metres out and let them go. Watch AFL make an overboard example of this incident.

@PaulDennett_ Additionally, a bowling all-rounder is worth much more than a batting all-rounder. Here too Imran trumps Sobers Imran could play in team as a specialist batsman. Averaged 38 Sobers could not as a bowler alone - he needed more than 15 overs per wicket and averaged a mediocre 34.
