A SPECTACULAR FALL FROM GRACE… Advocate Thabani Mpofu, I have for SO LONG observed the many POSTS which you have made, often castigating and scandalizing the RULING PARTY. I have DELIBERATELY withheld myself from responding out of RESPECT for your once DISTINGUISHED standing as an Advocate. With the greatest respect Counsel, you are now taking it TOO FAR. To publicly allege that I control ZANU PF is totally ABSURD and only shows how deep the FRUSTRATIONS of being left in the COLD by Chamisa have totally BLURRED your PROFESSIONAL judgment. For the avoidance of any DOUBT, I do not control or WISH to control the RULING PARTY in any manner whatsoever !!! I am a businessman, and that’s where my interest and ambitions are. I am simply an UNAPOLOGETIC, very loyal and ordinary CARD-CARYING member of ZANU PF. I run my BUSINESSES, I support my FAMILY and I contribute, where I can, to the socio-economic DEVELOPMENT of this country. Contrary to your sensational, yet half-witted claims, ZANU PF is controlled under ONE CENTRE OF POWER, led by His Excellency, President E.D. Mnangagwa 🐊🐊🐊🦁. It is a party that has well-established and fully fledged STRUCTURES led by the PRESIDIUM, the POLITBURO and the CENTRAL COMMITTEE, among others, but all of which I do not sit or participate in. Haasi MAHUMBWE eku CCC kunonzi bereka mwana tiende 🤣🤣🤣 . What is particularly DISAPPOINTING Counsel, is that these assertions are now coming from someone who was RECOGNISED WORLD OVER and once regarded as one of the most ADMIRABLE and TALENTED Advocates in Zimbabwe. In the past, I PERSONALLY engaged you to represent me on several matters, and your BRILLIANCE and command of the law were SECOND TO NONE. It is therefore profoundly DISCONCERTING to see how your SPECTECULAR FALL from the WEAK ECHELONS of opposition politics has left you PROFESSIONALLY DESTITUTE and having to resort to smear campaigns after realizing that your useless opposition “LEADER” deserted and abandoned you when you least expected it and when you wanted him the MOST. It is also sad how the TOXICITY of opposition politics has left you being a PALE IMAGE of your former glory…My humbe advice to you is that please try focus on the “FULCRUM” and “PITH” of your legal practice and refrain from dragging my precious name or smearing my good standing as a MEMBER of the REVOLUTIONARY MASS PARTY, ZANU PF ✊🏽. HAMUNA ZERA ne politics Gweta. What you must simply accept is that UNLIKE the CCC which has changed its FORM and CHARACTER as many times as it has FAILED its own followers, ZANU PF is anchored on the IDEOLOGIES of the liberation struggle. It is guided by UNITY of purpose and an irreversible ASPIRATION to deliver an UPPER MIDDLE-INCOME ECONOMY under VISION 2030. You are better off attending to the very few briefs left still coming to your CHAMBERS, than making BASELESS and NONSENSICAL claims against me, which takes away everything from the LITTLE that is left of your integrity. BE GUIDED ACCORDINGLY !!!

##NjanjaChronicles #TheHomecoming #TheKingIsAround Saturday 11 April will sit firmly in my history books ,one of the most memorable, emotional and deeply satisfying days, all wrapped up in a small bag of love. After a full year of planning, 35 grandchildren travelled from across the globe and gathered at the village in Redhill, Njanja, to honour and celebrate the lives and legacy of our dearly departed grandparents, Joseph Mackenzie Magende Pfende (15/10/1910 – 30/06/1988) and Helen Brooks (06/11/1918 – 17/08/1991). My grandfather settled in Redhill around 1940, where he established the first store in the area. A man of few words, but decisive in action. His story deserves more than a single post. My grandmother, Helen, was the daughter of Ambuya Chitema of Chihota and a Scottish immigrant who left soon after her birth. She was strong, hardworking, and deeply rooted in tradition. Despite standing out , light-skinned, with flowing hair , she became part of the community in a way that mattered. She worked the land tirelessly, alongside workers and, at times, us grandchildren during school holidays, while Granddad worked as a chauffeur for the MD of African Distillers in the 1970s. We also took time to remember our uncles. Roger Brooks-Pfende (10/03/1949 – 21/04/1981), whose life was tragically cut short after unknowingly drinking traditional beer laced with poison at a community function , an incident that shook the entire Denhere community. Onias George “Mapepa” Mackenzie Pfende (20/08/1947 – 20/06/1998) , a surveyor par excellence, a storyteller, and a man full of compassion. His work helped shape places like New Ardbennie Industrial area and Rufaro Stadium. Newton Brooks (10/01/1951 – 07/07/2024) , “the philosopher.” A wise, gentle man, a great listener, and one of those uncles I could run to for advice back in my dating days 😆 And Martin Brooks-Pfende (16/03/1942 – 22/10/2001) , a fighter and a brawler, loved his fast cars and everything that came with being the OG in the hood of Kong 😆 He worked at Salisbury Municipality, later Harare City Council. Worked hard. Played hard. For many of us, it was a remembrance and a reunion. Some cousins I hadn’t seen in 25 years. Some meeting for the very first time. There was laughter. There were stories. Drinks flowed, music carried through the night, and a strong team of murooras made sure no one went hungry. We sat around the fire until the early hours, reconnecting, remembering, and restoring something that time had quietly stretched. It was waaaay more than a gathering, it was a homecoming. And to say I need a recharge is an understatement. I’m off the grid Monday and Tuesday 😆

One thing’s for sure ,I’ll never fly with @FlyRwandAir again. Last-minute flight cancellations, 14–15 hour layovers, and packing passengers into hotel rooms like sardines? Absolutely unacceptable. And judging by the messages I’ve received, I’m far from alone, this seems to be a recurring experience for many. Something’s seriously off. @FlyRwandAir needs to bite the bullet, go back to the drawing board, and fix what’s broken. Fast. #DoBetterRwandaAir #CustomerExperienceMatters

Stop insulting our intelligence.Zimbabwe has 6,798 primary schools and 2,980 secondary schools about 4.66 million learners.Yet no open invitations were issued for these so-called U19 “trials.”& kids playingcricket in the US, UK &South Africa weren’t even considered.
