It is going to feel like summer in ROC/FLX tomorrow (watch for late day boomers). But winter returns Sunday/Monday. Wind chills near 20 degrees Monday morning and the EURO gives a better than 50-50 chance of an inch of snow by Monday morning over higher elevations. 👀🌞⚡️☔️❄️

Don't look now, but a dusting of snow is coming later tonight and tomorrow morning to Western New York and the Finger Lakes. Even a bit more than a dusting in spots, especially higher elevations. April (snow) showers...etc.

The season's snowfall total in Rochester stands at 113.6 inches. The normal-to-date is 93.7 inches, with the normal for an entire season is 101. We have not seen the last snow of the season, either. Despite a few wimpy winters recently, the long term snowfall trend is up.

A number of NYS Senate Democrats sent this letter to @GovKathyHochul today saying they “categorically oppose any effort to roll back New York’s nation leading climate law..." Locally, @SenatorBrouk has singed on to this letter, @SenatorCooney has not.

@wxbywilliams @HarryBBronson Plus, I would question the “healthy” and “nutritious “ breakfast. I work in a school, breakfast is packaged donuts, or toaster pastries, and juice. Sometimes a hot churro. Every once in a while a breakfast sandwich or slice of breakfast pizza.

Winter weather will return to Rochester and the Finger Lakes with the passage of this front. By Sunday morning plan on a fresh thin coat of snow, lake flakes in the air and temps not much higher than 20 degrees.

With 100.7" of snow, the winter-to-date in Rochester is now the 4th snowiest on record (and we'll add a bit tonight). Also, while some moderation in temps is ahead into next week, we foresee 2 or 3 wintry systems during the last 10 days of Feb that will surely add to that 100.7.
