James Lilliefors Poetry

The U.S.'s first Inaugural Poet, Robert Frost, on January 20, 1961. There have been five others: Maya Angelou, 1993; Miller Williams, 1997; Elizabeth Alexander, 2009; Richard Blanco, 2013; and Amanda Gorman, 2021. No Republican President has included a poet in his inauguration.
