White voters push DSA candidates in seats we can’t afford to lose, then walk away unscathed when they cost us the majority. Black and brown voters don’t get that luxury. We live with the consequences. Electability isn’t optional when you’re not the one who pays for the loss.

One of @mattyglesias's defining positions is that Democrats should be more moderate in order to attract more votes. But moderation is a moving target, as evidenced by the rapid change in public opinion on Israel-Palestine over the last few years: jacobin.com/2026/07/yglesi…
