And I said I agree with you on the assimilation part. So not sure why you are yelling at me. Many immigrants do assimilate. And second generation immigrants have the highest levels of assimilation. Look at immigrants who came here decades ago and look at their children. Many of the first generation immigrants still live like how they lived in their home countries but their children have strong American identities, completely identify with American culture, speak perfect English, and are very well assimilated into society.

If Marty actually put some thought into this, he would've said China. Even then, Carney didn't do the Chinese EV deal properly. To really handle Trump, Carney should exclude Tesla from that deal and allow an unlimited amount (or a higher limit of 100000) into Canada.

I’m not one to dump on pollsters when they produce numbers I don’t like. But numbers are numbers and most reputable pollsters show Carney enjoys the support of a strong plurality or even, by some measures, a majority of Canadians. And I believe that to be true. What I find harder to understand - with every non-answer, every dodge, every half-truth or outright lie, every promise undelivered, every time he looks the other way in the face of rising antisemitism - is why. And for how much longer.

Schools should be focused on teaching kids how to think, not what to think. Classrooms must be an impartial learning environment that prioritize teaching fundamentals like reading, math and science and support students in developing their own opinions and views. Our students and educators need to be safe in the classroom. We will be strengthening the Education Act to protect them from incidents of violence and aggression with clear standards and expectations. School boards will be held accountable if those standards are not followed.

People are free to believe in whatever they want to believe in. I don't have any "angst" over religion. I was immersed in it from a young age and understand Christianity better than most people that profess to be Christian. Because I understand it, I know what it is to be Christian, and real Christians do not advocate or support wars, and real Christians have compassion for those that need help.

As someone who grew up Catholic, with a parent whose devotion bordered on absolute, I was immersed in the Church, in scripture, and in what Christianity actually teaches from a very young age. So this part is not complicated. If you support pointless war for political or material gain… If you turn human beings into enemies simply because they were born somewhere else… If you condemn people who come here to build a life or simply to survive… Then the footprints beside yours are not Christ’s. Christianity is not a buffet. You don’t get to pick the parts that suit you and ignore the rest. You can claim the label. You can quote the verses. But you are not Christian.
