Does how a candidate use their social media account for their marketing affect my perception on them, even if they maybe nice in person? It absolutely does. Beyond their voting records, the way Dems conduct themselves online is a primary reason for my low opinion of the party..

A 19-year-old Iranian girl named Saghar Gholami is at an immediate risk of public execution by the Islamic regime in Iran. Saghar has been sentenced to capital punishment following her arrest during the January 2026 nationwide protests in Iran. Her name, Saghar, means "wine cup" or "goblet" in Persian and is associated with poetry and celebration. She was reportedly violently detained by security forces in early February. But since her arrest, she had no access to legal representation or contact with her family, nor was anyone informed about the exact nature of the legal charges against her. Human rights activists warn that her life is in immediate danger as the Islamic regime continues its crackdown on Iranian protesters. The Islamic regime in Iran must perish! #IranRevolution2026

CPAC for Iranians in Exile Statement on CPAC Conference in Dallas, Texas: Applauds CPAC participants strong show of support for President Trump CPAC for Iranians in Exile @CPACIranExile, a coalition partnership between the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), proudly extends its congratulations on a highly successful CPAC gathering in Dallas. This year’s event featured a series of impactful discussions and appearances focused on President Trump’s efforts to counter the threat posed by the Iranian regime—especially and including to the safety and security of the United States homeland. Throughout the conference, Iran-related programming stood out drawing significant engagement from attendees and underscoring the importance of President Trump’s vigilance against a regime that has long targeted Americans, including through terrorism, proxy warfare, and covert activities. Participants emphasized that confronting the Iranian regime is fundamentally about protecting American lives, preventing nuclear escalation, and disrupting networks that could enable attacks on U.S. soil. Notably, polling conducted by CPAC during the conference demonstrated that 9 in 10 of respondents approve President Trump’s military action to remove Iran’s regime leadership in order to halt its nuclear and missile threats, reflecting a strong consensus on the urgency of confronting a regime that poses a direct and growing danger to U.S. national security. On March 26, CPAC Senior Fellow and former White House Director of Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp led a powerful panel discussion featuring two courageous Iranian dissidents, Mersedeh Shahinkar and Raheleh Amiri. Both women, who each were blinded in one eye by regime authorities, delivered deeply moving accounts of resilience and resistance. Shahinkar and Amiri said, "They tried to silence us with violence, but our voice for Iran’s freedom only grows stronger.” Having fled Iran to come to America, their testimony served as a stark reminder of the human cost of tyranny and inspired a renewed commitment among attendees to support the Iranian people while also reinforcing the importance of ensuring that such threats never reach American communities. Mercedes Schlapp stated: ““We’ve got to make Iran free again, and we are going to make sure America stands strong by their side.” UANI Advisor and fellow panellist Dr. Hiva Wallace added, “President Trump did this so that our kids don’t have to live with the biggest state sponsor of terror being a nuclear power.” On March 27, UANI CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace participated in a featured “fireside discussion” with Rich Valdes, host of This America, titled “No Nukes for Jihad.” Ambassador Wallace articulated the grave dangers posed by a nuclear-armed Iran and emphasized the necessity of sustained international pressure to prevent the regime from advancing its nuclear and missile capabilities—capabilities that could ultimately be directed at the United States or its allies. Wallace stated: “The longest “Forever War” has been the Iranian regime’s nearly five decades long war against America and the West. It has cost American lives and trillions of dollars. President Trump has taken action to end this war now before the threat from Iran becomes even more dangerous.” On the final day, March 28, CPAC welcomed Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who was received by CPAC for Iranians in Exile Coalition leaders. The Crown Prince reaffirmed his commitment to a free and democratic Iran, declaring that “the future of Iran belongs to its people, not to those who oppress them.” His remarks resonated strongly with the audience and reinforced the message of hope and change. The Crown Prince expressed his support for President Trump’s military action. He urged: “Do not throw this crumbling regime a lifeline…Pave the way for the Iranian people to finish the job.” The presence and participation of Iranians in exile were a defining feature of this year’s conference. CPAC’s engagement with this community clearly resonated, as evidenced by the CPAC straw poll and by the hundreds of Iranian attendees who proudly and vociferously participated in the event’s programming. CPAC for Iranians in Exile remains steadfast in its support for President Trump’s actions to thwart the threat of the Iranian regime and in support of the Iranian people and those in exile who continue to advocate for future for a free Iran.

@Pushk1n9 @Bonn1eGreer You said nationality is an accident of birth, which implies my question of to OP is irrelevant. It is relevant because it’s their choice, so if you’re not Iranian, then defer or STFU. idc about your opinion on Pahlavi nor did I assume. I’m just saying your reply is a pile of shit

@GeraldYang10 @Bonn1eGreer Never expressed an opinion on Pahlavi but as you asked, he was a disaster which led to the 1979 revolution which was an abomination and Trumps actions will not in anyway help the Iranian people, and he and his sponsors know this, it is the point.

@Pushk1n9 @Bonn1eGreer If you’re not Iranian, your opinion on Pahlavi doesn’t matter because it’s the Iranian people’s choice and their choice alone. Obviously that’s too hard for a dumbass like you to understand

@Bonn1eGreer @GeraldYang10 Clearly missed those appearances on Newsnight 10 years ago? It keeps getting weird, people are people, nationality an accident of birth, intelligence a mix of genetics and experience, some individual work, empathy that seems to be the hardest, yet 70 years ago universal?

@patriot_apranik That sounds incredible but how do we know the protester apologized? Is there a video of it or a post by the Iranian woman who confronted the protester?

UPDATE: A brave Iranian woman confronted the protester holding that placard. The result? The protester actually apologized and promised her that she would never hold that sign or participate in these events again. This proves exactly what we've been saying: half of these activists have absolutely no idea what they are supporting. When manufactured outrage meets the REAL trauma and truth of the Iranian people, their narrative completely collapses. Never underestimate the power of speaking the truth. 👏🔥
Apranik 🇮🇷🇮🇱@patriot_apranik

Watch this brave Iranian woman absolutely school a clueless Western so-called activist. It is utterly embarrassing to see white European women, who enjoy absolute freedom and equal rights, stand in the streets of the UK to protect a misogynistic, terrorist regime that beats, tortures, and kills women for asking equality. Hypocrisy at the highest level!!

@tparsi Now, people in Iran are happy with what they consider a rescue mission to rid the Basij from their lives and this guy is talking as if he knows more about the situation than people who have families in Iran, as many expats in the video do.

@tparsi I know the guy who recorded this video. He is 100% correct - this clown is selectively outraged by the fact 168 school children were killed, but probably gave two shits when tens of thousands of Iranians were killed by the IRGC for peacefully demonstrating.

An American man is rightfully bewildered by a small gathering of Iranian Monarchists celebrating the bombardment of Iran. "You want to kill your own people?? You're fucking sick!!" The monarchists call him a "piece of shit" and a "coward." (??) The American man's reaction is not only normal but honorable. It is not normal to want your own country to be bombed while you live in the safety of Maryland or Los Angeles, nor, for that matter, to celebrate and dance to images of school girls being blown to pieces by an American Tomahawk missile. It is sick and dishonorable. Nor should any American accept it as normal for vengeful and traumatized Diasporas to treat the US military as a mercenary army that they can deploy at their behest to settle personal scores. All Americans should share the anger and disgust this man exhibits.

No, John. I’ve never heard anyone bring you up in any context. Whatever faint glimmer of influence you once had faded 20 years ago when you were shilling for the Iraq War and mass immigration. No one talks about you now, reads you, or cares about your opinions. That’s why you’re an elderly man reduced to tweeting at me 10 times a day begging for me to notice you. You’ve been wrong about every major issue for your entire life, killed your credibility, and now you’re doomed to live out your twilight years in irrelevance. So, no, nobody has ever told me that you find me tiresome. That would require them to know who you are and care enough to mention you, which nobody does. You have told me, though, because you’re desperate for my attention. I try not to give you what you want because I don’t generally like being mean to sad old men. But you asked a question, so this is this the answer. I hope it clears things up.
