There’s this plushie company that has disabled staff I guess and makes disabled plushies. They spelled a disability wrong on the tag and people were flipping out. They explained the employee fixing it had dyslexia but they are working to correct it. And people are still mad 😮‍💨

Americans with student loans are out here begging people to listen because we are spending DECADES paying on these loans, but the balances never move. I have paid my entire loan balance from 2006 + $10,000, & I still owe more than the original loan. THIS IS CALLED USURY, & it is the norm. Debt consolidation scams are also rampant. My debt is on the lower end, but people are out here with 6 figure loan balances they will NEVER pay off. These aren’t loans, it’s crime. Unfortunately, a lot of people—older Americans especially—have no idea this is our reality. Individuals are blamed, instead of the *extremely lucrative* student loans scam. People say, “Just pay your debts.” WE PAID OUR DEBTS, and then we paid them again, & again, & again. The balances never budge. I graduated college 20 years ago. End Stage Capitalism is SO bleak.

The arrogance here is unbelievable. This is from someone with a well-documented history of misleading use of citations and cherry picking. Get your own house in order before making sweeping claims about entire fields you have superficial knowledge of, and no experience in.

This is the type of unhinged garbage your employer reads and then pats themselves on the back for letting you take Christmas off.

Here's the thing about AI in biology: it absolutely has revolutionary potential, but any model is only as good as the data it's trained on. And there's a lot we don't know or are simply wrong about in bio. Want to truly build AI for bio? Invest in basic discovery science.

Men, if you can tell when something needs to be done at work and do it, you can learn to do it at home. If you only contribute to household upkeep & the care & feeding of its occupants when asked, you are not an adult partner & you are asking to have your ass kicked to the curb.
