Lately, I've been hearing very positive testimonials about software engineering jobs in Switzerland, but there's a problem: you need to speak German! Who thinks that's an investment worth considering?

I came across a post this morning that really made me think. Today there are senior and junior developers, and then there's this sentence that says juniors will be replaced by AI. If that happens and juniors disappear, where will the next seniors come from?

Ah bah visiblement je suis pas le seul à avoir eu cette expérience avec les cafés de San Francisco… J’ai fini par en trouver quelques uns très cool toutefois ! Mais c’est surprenant venant de cette ville. Quand tu vis en Asie (Vietnam Corée pour ma part) tout le monde vit et bosse dans les cafés

stick to theoretical computer science and algorithm design. go in depth on computer architecture, chip design, low level C & assembly, intuitively understand the world of 1s and 0s, know the different sections of memory, you hsould be able to visualize the program in memory; go in depth on GPU architecture, marinate your brain in it, you must be able to swim through a gpu in your imagination. strip it naked to the first principles.
