Yes, these scenes from Amsterdam are disgusting and horrible. But the attackers are not Palestinians, nor do they support Palestine. It’s exhausting and unfair to see Palestinians blamed every time a hate attack happens, as if we’re responsible for every act against Jewish or Israeli people. Hold those truly responsible accountable—blame them, not us. Stop unjustly linking Palestinians to actions that aren’t ours.

אתמול בערב התרחש בטלוויזיה אירוע שאסור היה לו לקרות. דני קושמרו נכנס עם גולני לדרום לבנון והחליט להשתתף ישירות בפעילות צבאית כשפוצץ את אחד המבנים. חציית קו מוסרית וחוקית של אחד מבכירי העיתונאים הישראלים. אמנת ז׳נבה מגינה על עיתונאים בשדה הקרב רק כאשר הם פועלים כעיתונאים. ברגע שהם לוקחים חלק ישיר בפעילות הצבאית הם נהפכים למטרות צבאיות לגיטימיות וחוקיות לחלוטין לצד השני. אני שמח מאוד לראות את גל המחאה, של עיתונאים ואזרחים, ששוטף את הרשת על האירוע החמור הזה.
