using ALT text on your images takes less than a minute - there's no excuse not to do it many of you claim to care about minorities but completely exclude a huge proportion of disabled people by not including basic accessibility knowing you need to & not doing it is ableism

twitter's main draw was its functionality during breaking news events. when you end verification (w/out pay), you take away the site's main draw – as a place to get up-to-the-second information from verified news sources. the utility isn't here anymore
