Otherwise how exactly are they restricting people from walking ?

New guardrails put in place at this junction in Saltaire - presumably as a pedestrian safety measure. Twitter folk - what alternatives are there that keep pedestrians safe, don't restrict walking and slow drivers? These make walking harder when we need to be making it easier.

@EssexPoliceUK Love all the comments blaming the protester when 2 lorries crashed due to a rolling road block. Doesn't it suggest the drivers were not paying due care and attention or that the road block was implemented incorrectly?

We are at the scene of J30 of the M25 where one person has climbed a gantry, and one person was stopped. This will cause traffic disruption, so please find alternative routes if possible. We will update you as soon as possible.
