🎄🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄🎄 Take a moment to value the blessings around you—what you have, who you’re with, and the moment you’re in. 2 Corinthians 9:15 – "Praise be to God for His gift beyond words!"

@Mangan150 Read Dumping Iron and went from 235 to 90 in 11 months of regular (every 8-10 week) blood donations. Very easy to address once issue realized with added benefit of helping others

The association of ferritin (stored body iron) and all-cause mortality in iron reduction (bloodletting, blood donation) and in all subjects (including controls). Yet mainstream healthcare considers all these ferritin levels normal. Blood donation could be a lifesaver.

@wolfstrength I can sympathize - on a great roll, hit best bench and overhead presses in years about a month ago, and then inflamed elbow tendons decided they would like a word. Rebuilding again!

DHM is the #1 anti-hangover supplement & it’s not even close It makes 7 drinks only feel like 2 the next day 1) Prevents hangovers/withdrawal 2) Protects liver/brain vs alcohol 3) Rapid antidepressant effects How? 1) Enhances alcohol’s metabolism via upregulating key enzymes such as ADH & ALDH2 2) Expedites alcohol’s clearance from the body 3) Quickly reduces blood alcohol levels 4) Reduces intoxication & sedation by blocking alcohol from binding to GABA-A receptors in the brain 5) Protects liver from alcohol by reducing lipid accumulation, oxidative stress, & inflammatory cytokines 6) Reduces withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, hyperexcitability, & seizures 7) Reduces neuroinflammation 8) Increases BDNF expression for neuroplasticity & rapid antidepressant effects 9) Prevents alcohol dependence via regulating GABA-A α4 subunit expression 10) Upregulates GABA-A receptors via increasing gephyrin The cherry on top? Dihydromyricetin (DHM) may help you lower your alcohol intake by reducing - Anxiety - Depression - Addiction/Dependence 1) Inhibiting neuroinflammation reduces anxiety by boosting GABA production. 2) Boosting BDNF improves mood & restores cognitive flexibility 3) Regulating GABA-A subunit expression prevents alcohol dependence How do you use it? I’d recommend 500mg to 1000mg You’ll want to take it AFTER you’re done drinking but before you go to sleep Will be dropping the godmode anti-hangover stack soon

Wait until you move up the corporate ladder & take your kids on vacation BUT you’re in a dead zone for wifi and have to run to the closest McDonald’s because your boss needs an urgent report for the Chairman that only you can provide. After 23 yrs, ONE of the final straws for me.

Do you really want to ask for a 2 week vacation when you’re 35+ years old? Want a 50-60 year old deciding if you can leave early to see your kids basketball game? Questions for Plato.

Build muscle early, and it'll never really leave you. You can take a year or two off, come back, and be right back where you started in a few months. The body remembers.

@GuruAnaerobic Any thoughts on a respectable quarter-mile target for >55 crowd? Mixing some interval training into program at that distance and trying figure out good goal. 7:17 mile / 26:00 5k best in last year

This is the truth. Social media promotes unreal and unnecessary expectations as it showcases the genetically superior. For the normal male a 350-400lbs deadlift or a sub 7-min mile is very good. I ran a 4.21 mile, but a quarter mile at this pace is decent. Tom Haviland, the Instagram beast can bench press 50% more than most men can squat - yet a 400lb squat is excellent. All-round health for life doesnt involve genetically superior targets.

@GuruAnaerobic People have an utterly skewed view of what strong is. Internet outliers pushed to the top of the feed make up 0.0001% of gym population.
