Jungleland was an animal theme park in Thousand Oaks that many still miss. Kids could get their photo taken with "tame" lions. Unfortunately, one of the cats mauled Jayne Mansfield's son Zoltan Hargitay in 1966. He had 6-hour brain surgery & almost died. The park closed in 1969.


Stop 13 - Dizdar Park The Pleasant Valley Cemetery was built here in 1874. By 1945, the cemetery had been neglected while the town children had no park to play in. Mike Dizdar funded the relocation of graves and the construction of a new park. Park is named in his honor.
