Victoria Falls is experiencing the largest volume of water in 70 years right now. On the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia (with 75% of the best views only visible from Zimbabwe), the falls are the largest curtain of falling water in the world. Kariba Dam will probably overspill this year & we might see the sluice gates opened for the first time in many many years, @mimmitwit @Mavhure @matigary @Zimparks

Iran categorically denies all allegations of pasta cutting. We respect the territorial integrity of spaghetti. Any claims to the contrary are baseless and do not reflect our official position. (Please just don't check our kitchens for this. We don't want to lose our potential ally)

Dear Italy, Your PM just defended Pope and lost an ally in Washington — the Commander in Grief, yet the most 'powerfool'man on earth. We'd like to apply for the vacancy. Our qualifications: 7,000 years of civilization, a shared love of poetry, architecture, and food that takes longer to prepare than Trump's attention span. The only thing Iran and Italy have ever fought over is who invented ice cream. Faloodeh came first. Gelato came louder. We've been in a 'cold' war over this for 2,000 years.

When I started dating my husband, I used to hold my fart like my life depended on it. I would even excuse myself and go outside like I had an important phone call 😭 One day, I sat down and thought, If this man ends up marrying me, I go dey run go outside forever? God forbid 😩 So I decided to be brave. That day, I released one silent fart, the type that moves like a thief in the night. My husband looked at me and said, “Did you just fart?” I said, “Yes.” He looked shocked and asked, “Why?” I said, “Why as how? We’re in this together. You must accept me as I am.” 😂😂 I didn’t know I was opening the gates of hell. Few weeks later, this man released his own… Omo… the thing no be fart again… na environmental hazard. It shook the foundation of our house 😩😩😩 I shouted, “Ah! Did you fart?!” He calmly said, “Yes… you said we should not hide anything from each other.” 😭😭 Since that day, anytime my husband shifts small, I just carry my phone and relocate… because experience is the best teacher 😂😂

This Easter, I invite you to look at Jesus, consider what he said and did, and ask for yourself what I believe is the most important question you will ever answer: Did he really leave behind an empty tomb? And if he did, what does that mean for you? This video was made possible and in collaboration with my friends at @ChildlikeMedia.

It’s April 1st, what better day to highlight a manuscript fraud? Ever heard of the Gospels of Jesus’s wife? It ended up being a little more 21st century than 1st century in its origins (a 🧵).

GOGGLE CRACKED BITCOIN! Nope. Google Quantum AI just published a new paper showing ECC-256 (Bitcoin’s curve) could theoretically be cracked with <500k physical qubits. Not a big deal for Bitcoin. - Still pure theory. No one has hundreds of thousands of error-corrected qubits. - Most BTC sits in addresses where the public key is never exposed until you spend (don’t reuse addresses). - Bitcoin can soft-fork to quantum-resistant signatures years before any real threat arrives. HODL calmly. We’ve got time. Paper here: quantumai.google/static/site-as…

When reading the New Testament, we occasionally encounter an ocean of theology compressed into a few rich drops of text. A cluster of verses says more in a few words than most of us can say in entire books. A prime example is found in Titus 2, one of the chapters we read today in Bible in One Year. Paul writes, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works” (2:11-14). Chisel these words onto the tablets of your heart. What was the ministry of Jesus? The appearance of God’s grace (not his wrath). Jesus is divine grace made manifest. The result? Salvation for all people. “In Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself” (2 Cor. 5:19). The deed is done for all. And all who believe it, receive it. What fruit does this grace bear in our lives? We are trained thereby to renounce ungodly lives because Jesus has redeemed us from lawlessness to be, as his people, zealous for good works. We are not saved by our good works, but, having been saved, do good works as we lead self-controlled, upright, godly lives. Whom do we await? Our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. In faith and love, we wait for the appearance of the one who is our Savior, our God, our Hope, Jesus the Messiah. In four verses, Paul summarizes the ministry of Jesus, salvation, the Christian life, and the end times. Drink deeply of these words. Here is Christianity. Here is the faith we confess.

@bla_bidza Billionaire, Strive Masiyiwa, Elon Musk, Bill Gates etc are all good for SEO. So, journos are always going to find a way to sneak that in into their titles/headlines

Dear Zimbabwean and African journos, when reporting on major business developments involving his companies or other African business moguls, please prioritise the corporate brands in your headlines rather than defaulting to headlines like “Billionaire Strive Masiyiwa… or Africa's Richest Man"........framing, with the latter referencing Dangote. Even in global reporting, companies are recognised by their own identities. You are not the only ones; even across Africa, Aliko Dangote's businesses are constantly reported through the lens of “Africa’s richest man.” Whereas elsewhere internationally, Tesla, Starlink, X and SpaceX are treated as distinct brands, separate from Elon Musk, just as Apple, Google, and Microsoft stand independently of their founders. Strive Masiyiwa and his group of companies have invested significantly in building strong brand identities such as @econetzimbabwe, Econet Infraco, @CassavaTech , and @LiquidInTech and see the need for them to grow their brand equity. Media coverage should reflect and respect that brand equity by giving prominence to the companies themselves rather than reducing them to the personalities behind them, to institutionalise the going-concern principle. Apple continued after the death of Steve Jobs because of its strong, distinctive institutionalised brand identity and brand equity. You have the utmost responsibility to uproot the sole trade mentality in our people and to help our black-owned multinationals grow without the institution of the founder. It sounds petty, but this is very important for Africa. And it also applies to you @BISouthAfrica
