I’d frame it different… MVPs are NOT a smaller versions of what you intend to build later… their only purpose is to help you learn and adapt. An MVP is the cheapest & quickest representation of your idea that helps you test & learn about your most important hypotheses…
Victor 🧢@victor_bigfield

Your MVP is not a prototype It's the simplest version of your product that still provides value Don't overcomplicate it Start small, learn fast 🚀

You should never write a press release. Because you do not need the press. Instead, build your own channel and put up a blog post, tweet, or video in your own words. You provide the content and your friends retweet to provide the distribution. And that’s how you go direct.

Hiring intrinsically motivated people doesn't mean the issue of money is off the table... We aren't motivated by the money, but we can be demotivated by lack of it. Paying top of the market for intrinsically motivated people means you've taken the issue of money off the table.

1/ On What Is Decentralized A brief, beginner thread. Sorry in advance to the nerds. tl;dr 1) Some L1s (like BTC, ETH and some others) 2) Zero websites 3) Very few L2s Basically, you only get permissionlessness and censorship resistance on the L1s for now.

“I can remember so little of the earlier books on my Kindle, but having clear, easy to view notes that I now have with Miro makes it much easier to glance over them again.” - Chris H. bit.ly/3Mazz9F #prodmgmt #ux #engineering (via @ttorres)

Good friend of mine told me today he was able to work on an actual viable product (AVP) at his new startup gig. So that’s my new buzzword. #AVP

@larsboehnke @lissijean For delivery, it is. The primary measure of progress for a software _project_ is working software. Progress for a _product_ in the market is sales, use, license renewals, etc. Building software that’s not used, isn’t progress. Or, more concisely: velocity isn’t value.

Study of 10,000+ tech workers who went remote: Work hours increased by 30%, but productivity fell by 20%. Why? More interruptions & meetings, less 1:1 time & coaching from supervisors. If we want remote to work, we need focused time to work and learn. bfi.uchicago.edu/working-paper/…
