I’d frame it different… MVPs are NOT a smaller versions of what you intend to build later… their only purpose is to help you learn and adapt.
An MVP is the cheapest & quickest representation of your idea that helps you test & learn about your most important hypotheses…

@larsboehnke @lissijean For delivery, it is. The primary measure of progress for a software _project_ is working software. Progress for a _product_ in the market is sales, use, license renewals, etc. Building software that’s not used, isn’t progress. Or, more concisely: velocity isn’t value.
