BOOM! Remember Kim Davis, the former county clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses in Kentucky to same-sex couples? Well, a federal judge just ruled that she must pay a total of over $260,000 in fees and expenses to attorneys who represented one couple who sued her. That’s in addition to $100,000 in damages a jury said Davis must pay the couple.

@b_toni87 @cprwarner It’s not weird, it’s budding pride. At least it wasn’t for me. A million years ago I had little to no confidence, no education and nothing interesting to contribute to the world. I found a source of pride in being an excellent server. I built my life from that shred of pride.

@cprwarner I can’t stand this. Some servers see it as a badge of pride that they can take an order without writing it down. So weird.

I have to be honest. I have trust issues with servers who don’t write down my order.

@joshgad While I’m 100% disgusted and hope each person involved is held accountable, I also have to remember, hard as it is, it’s likely these people are also abused. Abused people abuse people.
