@JohnLewisRetail His report literally said the marble was full of filler. I have never contested that its not a 'manufacturing fault,' more that this is not reflective of an £800 table. I'd expect so much more longevity for that price point. £800 for a year is shocking quality.

So @JohnLewisRetail used to be known for their customer service. But apparently this £800 table is 'performing as expected' after a years light use. Wild.
@JohnLewisRetail The technician said it was a cheap marble and he wouldn't buy modern furniture anymore because it's all cheap quality. Which is great if it wasn't an £800 table. Its poor.
1/ 4 Months ago my fiance and I went into @JohnLewis to start our gift list. From the beginning we've had shoddy, outdated service that has ruined what should be great customer service. Sit back kids, and learn how the @JohnLewis gift list deserves to be consigned to the bin.
