'Training camp contract' is essentially WNBA CBA jargon. All it means is the deal is one year, unguaranteed, at the player's applicable minimum salary. Also helps for cap gymnastics. It's not an insult, it doesn't mean it's just a tryout. Basically just CBA phraseology. #WNBA
