@CNMIO_BH@SharonDownman1@DeSouzaRN@AIDH_NaM@AaronJonesCNMIO 4/4 It is so vital that nurses voice their opinions on how modules should be designed if they are the main group that enter the data, interrogate the data, or report on the data.
@CNMIO_BH@SharonDownman1@DeSouzaRN@AIDH_NaM@AaronJonesCNMIO 3/4 Years later, different vendor, witnessed a consultant outline what needed to be included in a electronic whiteboard - again, medical officers never contributed to the old whiteboard format.
@CNMIO_BH@SharonDownman1@DeSouzaRN@AIDH_NaM@AaronJonesCNMIO 2/4 In all my years of nursing, I had NEVER seen a medical officer write anything on a fluid balance chart. Unfortunately we got what the medical officer suggested, and it was so unworkable for nurses.
@CNMIO_BH@SharonDownman1@DeSouzaRN@AIDH_NaM@AaronJonesCNMIO 1/4 Don’t get me started. I remember being in a room of clinicians back in 2003 where a vendor wanted our opinions of how to develop a fluid balance chart for their EMR. I listened for 10 mins while a consultant described what it should include and look like.
