If Trump becomes president again, after all we know ,and you supported his campaign you will have participated in the end of American democracy. You will not be rewarded by your leader beyond a rush you might seek for upending civility. You aren't part of his plan. He is the entirety of his plan and the future will belong to him. Not you. You won't get a thank you or a knowing nod. He will allow you to buy trinkets with his image and name emblazoned. Trump is a despicable example of human kind. Devoid of compassion. Devoid of any respect for knowledge and education. Trump is the fully realized Id. He will have no guardians , no guard rails and no shame. He cannot tell the difference between what he is and what he wants. There is none when you analyze the situation. He flunks Descarte's building block syllogism automatically. He can't think so no therefore. Ego driven rage and revenge. If you're inclined to assist him please rethink your reasons. #Trump

Beckwith brings up Let’s Talk About it again. Wants to know before the move to HS section where it have been. Waterman states that staff looks at reviews & where other libraries have it. A request for review is also available if a patron believes it’s in the wrong section.

@MFullhart Neither Maddalone nor Beckwith seem to understand their roles as board members.

Maddalone & Beckwith are combative about book policy. My opinion is he is trying to score political points and it’s awful. Kenley chimes in on it. States that Beckwith is requesting a one sentence answer. Waterman talked about it for 10 minutes. Thinks he is badgering.

In doing so, they should acknowledge that my book IS in violation of their (ill-advised, poorly written, reprehensible) policy. The very people who wrote the policy are trying to blame others, but the problem isn't books or librarians--the problem is the policy. Rescind it tomorrow, or the embarrassment will continue--which will only harm Hamilton County and readers everywhere.

Don’t let them tell you that Covid is over. After three years of not ever getting it, I just tested positive for the first time. I am not surprised because I feel horrible. I have already notified everybody that I came in contact with.
