Today, I sent a letter joined by more than 30 Oregon mayors to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Tom Homan, calling for an immediate halt to ICE activities in Oregon until recent federal use of force incidents are investigated and there is full accountability.

@elonmusk Well, “inactive”… but no mentions of those who were signed up at DMV that are not legal citizens. They acknowledged the situation at DMV but actively decided not to pursue anything 🤔 I won’t be shocked when the number is much higher. Oregon is exhausting.

Oregonians just gathered ≈250,000 signatures to reject higher gas taxes because the cost of living is already crushing families. So what do lawmakers do next? Float a RETAIL SALES TAX. If they won’t listen to voters, voters need to replace them.

I'm a chief petitioner. And I totally agree with you. Rep Diehl did a fantastic job communicating. That petition had a few things ours does not have: - all Republican legislators endorsing - the ORP's endorsement (they paid for at least two mailers) - a couple hundred thousand dollars But, we're still working our butts off to get the info out there.

I fully support @AGDanRayfield & local District Attorneys who have put the federal government on notice. Oregon is monitoring all ICE actions closely. We will investigate misconduct. And if a federal officer breaks Oregon law, they will be held accountable — just like anyone else
