Nope. Saying FSM all year round is not the right way. We have a welfare state, we've increased UC, we've given more £ to Councils to directly support the most in need. Some need help, but it needs to be targeted long term help for those in need, not broad brush sticking plasters.

@Bec2043 @nathlloyd @BBradley_Mans @AngelaRayner That may be true. This is an emotive and unclear topic, in terms of the best solution. Personally I can’t see why local authorities aren’t doing it as they have received a lot of money from central government.

A Conservative MP has said that free school meals are effectively a direct payment to brothels and drug dealers. Notwithstanding the fact that the vouchers in summer could only be used to purchase food, this stigmatisation of working class families is disgraceful and disgusting.

@LouHaigh Yes but your leader who should support the police having been head of the CPS should be supporting the police but recently he supported a group that wanted the police defunded but has since done a u turn. Your party needs to be supporting the police not criticising them.
